Violet: Live in the Parlour at Fox & Crow, Jersey City

Violet is Meredith Minogue (singer/songwriter/guitarist) and Jim Barry (songwriter/guitarist/multi instrumentalist). Their sound draws from rock and roll, folk- rock, 70’s singer-songwriters, new wave, country-blues and dream pop. It’s a bit like Buffalo Springfield, Tim Buckley and Gary Numan having a drink with the Pretenders while staring at a Marc Chagall painting.
